I love coffee the way that Lorelei on Gilmore Girls loves coffee. But do I have great barista skills? No. Do I wake up early enough to brew even just a basic pot of coffee? Also no. Which is why this little kitchen gadget has been an absolute game-changer for whipping up a great-tasting latte at home with minimal effort and time.
Seriously, I don’t know what I did before the Aerolatte. On the recommendation of a friend, I scooped one up and was shocked to see not only the difference it made in coffee taste, but also how easy and fast it was to use. Another plus is that it’s pretty compact, so you won’t have to worry about it taking up space on the counter!
Whenever I’m in need of caffeine, I’ll pour a little milk into a mug, pop it into the microwave for 15 seconds, and then put my Aerolatte to work. The electric, stainless steel whisk has an adjustable speed, and turns the milk into foam in just a few seconds. Then, I’ll use my pod-system coffee maker to add in espresso (illy’s X9 iperEspresso machine, to be exact). All in all, it takes about two minutes! It’s more than paid for itself in the amount of times I would have talked myself out of a crappy cup at home in favor of a trip to Starbucks.
Now, a full-size milk steamer is obviously going to give you better results, but, if you’ve ever used one, then you know it can be messy and difficult to clean. The Aerolatte is a close alternative for anyone in a time crunch, which TBH, is me at all times. I can’t imagine mornings without it!
